Ghisla Art Collection – Locarno

In the heart of Locarno, a private collection opens a window onto some of the most compelling artistic languages of the 20th and 21st centuries. The Ghisla Art Collection brings together works by international artists in an intimate setting, housed within a building of striking architectural character. Away from the major museum circuit, it is a place to explore at an unhurried pace, where each room encourages a closer, more personal encounter with the works on display.

Fondation Beyeler

At Fondation Beyeler, art finds its ideal setting. As you move through the spaces designed by Renzo Piano, you can pause before masterpieces by Monet, Picasso, Giacometti, Rothko or Basquiat and, moments later, let your gaze wander into the surrounding park through the building’s generous openings to the outside. Major temporary exhibitions complement the permanent collection, making each visit different and creating a rare balance between visual art, architecture and nature.

Zentrum Paul Klee – Bern

In Bern, Paul Klee’s universe begins with the architecture that surrounds it. Renzo Piano’s sweeping curves appear to continue the contours of the landscape, creating a setting where art and environment merge with remarkable ease. Inside, the world’s most important collection devoted to Klee leads visitors into an imaginative realm of line, colour, music and poetry, alongside temporary exhibitions dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
