Castel dell’Ovo

Thinking outside the box is in our DNA, especially when it comes to choosing the right location for a meeting. For this event we proposed historic Castel dell’Ovo to our client. 

The castle, property of the City of Naples, combines history with unmistakable natural beauty. Set on a slab of compact volcanic ash just off the coastline, it is linked to the mainland by a bridge to the beautiful Via Partenope. Its bastions and terraces provide breathtaking views of the gulf.

We managed to transform the castle’s austere stone chambers into modern, comfortable meeting rooms.

Outsized, blown-up black-and-white photos of scenes from days gone by transformed ancient arches into large windows looking out onto old Naples. Coffee breaks and lunch on the great stone terraces proved to be enjoyable, unforgettable moments in the shade of the archways. Attendees relished the briny sea air, awash in dazzling sunlight, and the view over the Bay of Naples that typical visitors to the city never get to see.

Lastly, it’s impossible not to mention the selection of iconic traditional Neapolitan dishes transformed into contemporary finger food to the delight of our guests. All part of the cornerstone of our philosophy – to offer clients innovative takes on some of the most famed and beloved destinations.
